
We’ve always described the INTI Neighborbood as an island. Either a tranquil island of low-speed roads safely nestled in a sea of freeways, or an actual island, you know, the kind with sand, palm trees and drenched in sunshine…
So you can imagine our delight when we got a call from a visionary architect who is building an eco-community on an actual island in the Bahamas. With every detail of the community worked out, he was struggling to think what to do about transportation on an island with no gas stations or power generators, nor any desire to have them.
Enter the INTI, our solar powered car, self-charging and capable of driving around the 10 mile long island several times on a single day’s charge.
I can’t say too much as we’re still working out the details, suffice it to say that it puts a smile on my face every time I think about it…
