INTI Warranty

STS INTI Standard Limited Warranty

INTI Solar Electric Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV)

Effective Date: (Date of Original Purchase)

STS INTI (“Manufacturer”) provides this Standard Limited Warranty for the INTI Solar  Electric Low-Speed Vehicle (the “Vehicle”) to the original purchaser (“Owner”). This Warranty  outlines the coverage, conditions, exclusions, claim process, and legal terms applicable to the  Vehicle. By purchasing the Vehicle, the Owner agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Vehicle Warranty (2-Year Limited Warranty):

STS INTI warrants that the entire Vehicle – including all components and workmanship – will  be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of  two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. During this 2-year period, any genuine  defect in materials or workmanship that arises under normal operation will be repaired or  replaced (at STS INTI’s option) at no cost to the Owner, subject to the terms and conditions of  this Warranty.

1.2 Lithium Battery Pack Warranty (5-Year Limited Warranty):

STS INTI additionally warrants the Vehicle’s lithium-ion battery pack against defects in  materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original retail  purchase. If the battery pack exhibits a covered defect within this 5-year period, STS INTI will  repair or replace the defective battery pack (at STS INTI’s option) without charge for parts or  labor, subject to the terms herein. This battery warranty is limited to manufacturing defects and  does not cover normal capacity degradation or failures due to misuse, damage, or improper  maintenance (see Exclusions below).

1.3 Limitations of Coverage:

The above warranty periods begin on the date the Vehicle is first delivered or sold to the  original retail Owner (whichever occurs first).

Any repaired or replaced part under this Warranty will assume the remaining original  warranty period only; no extension of the original warranty period will occur.

This Warranty applies only to Vehicles sold by STS INTI within jurisdictions where such  vehicles are intended to be sold, used, and serviced by the STS Service Center network.  It is the Owners responsibility to transport the INTI to an authorized Service Center if an INTI owner relocates the INTI outside the Service Center network geography.

2. Warranty Conditions

To qualify for service under this Limited Warranty, the following conditions must be met:

2.1 Normal Use & Maintenance:

Coverage applies only to defects that arise during normal use, operation, and maintenance of the  Vehicle as outlined in the owner’s manual and other STS INTI guidelines. The Vehicle must be  operated and maintained according to the recommended procedures and schedules. Abuse,  neglect, or improper maintenance of the Vehicle will void this Warranty (see Section 3:  Exclusions).

2.2 Authorized Service Requirement:

All warranty repairs or replacements must be performed by an authorized STS INTI service  center. Any attempt to repair, modify, or service the Vehicle by an unauthorized person or  facility may void this Warranty. Owners are responsible for delivering the Vehicle to an  authorized service location for warranty service.

2.3 Original Purchaser & Non-Transferability:

This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original retail purchaser of the Vehicle, as  documented by the proof of purchase. It is non-transferable and does not apply to any  subsequent owner, transferee, or lessee of the Vehicle. In the event of Vehicle resale or transfer,  any remaining warranty coverage is void. Proof of original purchase (e.g., sales invoice or  registration) is required to verify Warranty eligibility.

2.4 No Unauthorized Modifications:

The Vehicle must remain in its original factory condition. Any modifications, alterations, or  installations of non-STS INTI approved parts or accessories (including modifications to the  speed governor, drivetrain, electrical systems, etc.) may void this Warranty if such changes are  determined to contribute to the defect or damage of the Vehicle.

3. Exclusions (What This Warranty Does Not Cover)

This Limited Warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal  use. It does not cover any of the following categories of items, conditions, or damages:

Normal Wear and Tear: Routine deterioration from regular use, including but not  limited to consumable or wear items such as brake pads, brake shoes, tires, belts, fuses, light bulbs, wiper blades, spark plugs, filters, lubricants, and other expendable  maintenance items. These parts naturally wear out over time and are the Owner’s  responsibility to inspect and replace as needed.

Scheduled Maintenance & Adjustments: Regular or scheduled maintenance services  and adjustments (e.g., tune-ups, alignments, tire rotation, cleaning, fluid changes, battery  charging, brake adjustments) as outlined in the owner’s manual. The cost of routine  maintenance and service items is the Owner’s responsibility and not covered by this  Warranty.

Cosmetic or Appearance Issues: Paint finish, trim, upholstery, and other aesthetic or  cosmetic components (including fading, discoloration, rust, or corrosion) that do not  affect the functional operation of the Vehicle. Minor imperfections or damage to the  body, frame, or paint caused by environmental exposure or normal use are not covered.

Accident or Collision Damage: Any damage, failure, or defect resulting from accidents,  crashes, collisions, impact, dropping, overturning, or other physical incidents.  Damage from road hazards or external objects (e.g., rocks, debris) is not covered.

Misuse or Abuse: Damage or failures caused by misuse, abuse, or use of the Vehicle  beyond its intended purpose or design specifications. Examples include racing, off-road  use (if not designed for off-road), overloading beyond stated capacity, reckless driving,  stunt driving, or use of incompatible chargers or accessories.

Improper Storage or Environmental Damage: Damage resulting from environmental  factors or natural events, such as floods, fire, water immersion, rainstorms, hail,  lightning strikes, extreme temperatures (freezing or extremely high heat), salt or  corrosive environments, or other acts of nature. Corrosion or damage due to exposure to  chemicals (including improper cleaning agents) or environmental pollutants is excluded.

Unauthorized Modifications or Alterations: Any defect or damage caused by  modifications, alterations, or additions not approved in writing by STS INTI. This  includes installation of non-genuine parts, high-performance aftermarket parts,  modifications to electrical systems or software, or any change that alters the Vehicle’s  design or performance characteristics. Such modifications may void the Warranty  entirely.

Improper or Inadequate Maintenance: Failures caused by neglecting regular  maintenance, using incorrect fluids or lubricants, improper charging or battery care, or  not addressing warning indicators in a timely manner. The Warranty will not cover  damage resulting from the Owner’s failure to properly maintain or service the Vehicle as  recommended by STS INTI in the Owner’s Manual.

Commercial or Rental Use: Unless expressly agreed by STS INTI in writing, this  Warranty does not cover Vehicles used for commercial, rental, or other profit-generating  purposes (such as fleet use, taxi or shuttle services). Such use is considered beyond  normal personal use and may carry separate terms if applicable.

Incidental or Consequential Damages: Secondary costs or damages that arise from a  defect in the Vehicle are not covered by this Warranty. This includes, but is not limited  to, lost time, inconvenience, loss of Vehicle use, towing charges, travel or lodging  expenses, rental vehicle costs, storage fees, loss of personal or commercial property,

or any other incidental or consequential loss or damage. (See Section 5 for additional  legal limitations on incidental and consequential damages.)

Other Exclusions: Any failure or damage caused by (i) use of the Vehicle outside of the  country or region of intended sale, (ii) acts of war, civil unrest, or government actions,  (iii) the installation of any equipment or accessories not authorized by STS INTI, (iv) use  of improper or contaminated fuel, fluids, or lubricants, or (v) continuing to operate the  Vehicle after a defect or problem is known or suspected (which can lead to additional  damage).

If a problem is determined to be not covered by this Limited Warranty (under one of the above  exclusions or otherwise), the Owner may be responsible for the cost of diagnosis, parts, and  repairs. The authorized service center should provide an estimate for any such non-warranty  work before proceeding.

4. Claim Process (How to Obtain Warranty Service)

If a defect in materials or workmanship arises within the applicable warranty period, the Owner  must follow these steps to make a warranty claim:

1. Stop Using the Vehicle (if necessary): If continued operation of the Vehicle might cause  further damage (for example, a warning light indicates an issue, or the Vehicle is not  operating correctly), stop using the Vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so. Continuing to  operate the Vehicle with a known problem may void the Warranty for that issue and  result in additional damage that is not covered.

2. Contact an Authorized STS INTI Service Center: The Owner should promptly notify  an authorized STS INTI Service center of the suspected defect. A list of authorized  service locations can be found in the Vehicle’s documentation or via the STS INTI  website/customer service. It is recommended to schedule an appointment and describe the  issue in detail.

3. Provide Proof of Purchase and Vehicle Information: When presenting the Vehicle for  warranty service, the Owner must provide proof of original purchase (such as a dated  sales receipt or purchase agreement) and verify that they are the original purchaser. The  Vehicle’s identification number (VIN or serial number) and registration information will  be required to validate warranty status.

4. Inspection and Warranty Determination: An authorized technician will inspect and  diagnose the Vehicle. If the issue is determined to be a valid defect in materials or  workmanship covered by this Warranty, the repair or replacement will be performed at  no charge for parts and labor. The service center will obtain any necessary approvals  from STS INTI for the warranty repair.

5. Approval and Repair: Upon warranty approval, the authorized dealer/service center will  proceed to repair the defect or replace the defective component with new or  remanufactured parts that meet STS INTI specifications. All parts replaced under

warranty become the property of STS INTI. Repairs will be conducted within a  reasonable time frame, dependent on parts availability and service scheduling. 6. Costs to Owner: No charges will apply to the Owner for covered warranty repairs (parts  or labor). However, this Warranty does not cover certain costs to the Owner: the  Owner is responsible for any transportation or shipping costs to deliver the Vehicle to an  authorized service location, any towing fees (unless otherwise provided by separate  roadside assistance coverage), and any incidental expenses incurred during the warranty  claim process (such as travel, meals, or lodging). STS INTI and its dealers are not  responsible for damage or loss of the Vehicle during transport to/from the service center;  it is recommended that the Owner ensure the Vehicle is safely transported. 7. Completion of Service: After the repairs are completed, the Owner should thoroughly  review the work performed with the service center and obtain documentation of the  warranty repair for their records. The remaining original warranty period continues to  apply to the Vehicle (and any replacement parts) after repair. If the Owner has any  questions about the service or the defect resolution, they should address them with the  dealer before taking back the Vehicle.

8. If Warranty Service is Denied: If a claim for warranty service is not honored because  the issue is determined not to be covered (e.g., due to an exclusion or expiration of the  warranty period), the authorized dealer should provide an explanation. The Owner will  then have the option to proceed with paid repairs. If the Owner disagrees with a warranty  denial, they may contact STS INTI’s customer service for further clarification or to  appeal the decision.

Important: Do not ship or deliver the Vehicle to STS INTI’s corporate address for warranty  service unless expressly instructed in writing by STS INTI. All warranty service requests should  be handled through authorized dealers or service centers. Unauthorized returns or shipments may  be refused and will not be covered under this Warranty.

5. Legal Terms & Limitations

This section outlines important legal limitations, disclaimers, and rights pertaining to this  Limited Warranty:

5.1 Exclusive Warranty & Sole Remedy:

This document contains the full and exclusive warranty given by STS INTI for the INTI Solar  Electric LSV. It replaces any other representations, guarantees, or warranties (oral or written)  related to warranty coverage for the Vehicle. The sole remedy available to the Owner under this  Limited Warranty is the repair or replacement of defective parts by STS INTI through its  authorized service centers, as provided herein. No dealership, sales representative, or any other  third party is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this Warranty on behalf of STS INTI.

5.2 Disclaimer of Other Warranties:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STS INTI disclaims any other warranties or  conditions, express or implied, that are not expressly provided in this document. This includes,  without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability (the implied promise that the  product is fit for ordinary use) and fitness for a particular purpose (the implied promise that  the product can be used for a specific purpose). If such implied warranties cannot be disclaimed  under applicable law, then to the extent permitted, the duration of any such implied  warranties is limited to the duration of the express limited warranty periods stated in  Section 1 (Coverage). In other words, any implied warranties shall expire concurrently with the  2-year Vehicle warranty, or the 5-year battery pack warranty, as applicable. Some jurisdictions  do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply  to you.

5.3 Limitation of Liability (No Incidental or Consequential Damages):

Under no circumstances shall STS INTI be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or  consequential damages arising out of or related to the purchase or use of the Vehicle. This  means that any loss of time, loss of use of the Vehicle, inconvenience, commercial loss,  towing expenses, rental car fees, lost profits or earnings, or any other incidental or  consequential loss or damages are not recoverable under this Warranty or otherwise. STS  INTI’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as stated in this  Warranty. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or  consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

5.4 Warranty Period & Expiration:

No warranty coverage is provided beyond the stated limited warranty periods. Once a warranty  period (2-year or 5-year, as applicable) has expired, any claims for defects or repairs arising  thereafter are not covered by this Warranty. STS INTI is not responsible for, and will not pay for,  any repairs or part replacements after the expiration of the applicable warranty period, regardless  of the cause of failure, except to the extent such obligations cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

5.5 Non-Transferability (Original Owner Only):

As noted in Section 2.3, this Warranty covers only the original purchaser of the Vehicle. It will  not apply to any subsequent owner or transferee. Any transfer of ownership of the Vehicle  terminates this Warranty. STS INTI reserves the right to require documentation or affidavits to  verify that any claim is being made by the original Owner. This limitation is a material term of  this Warranty and is intended to encourage proper registration and warranty activation by the  original purchaser.

5.6 No Other Agreements:

Unless a separate written warranty agreement or extension is provided by STS INTI (for  example, an extended service contract or warranty extension program), no other warranty terms  or agreements shall be implied or inferred. This Standard Limited Warranty document is the controlling warranty for the Vehicle. Any additional warranty document provided at the time  of sale (such as a separate warranty booklet or card) is deemed to be consistent with these terms;  in the event of any conflict between this document and any other warranty representation, the  terms of this Standard Limited Warranty shall prevail to the maximum extent permitted by  law.

5.7 Your Rights and State Laws:

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from  state to state (or jurisdiction to jurisdiction). This Warranty does not override or limit any  rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws; to the extent any term of this  Warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be deemed modified or severed to comply with the  law, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms. For example, some states do not allow  the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on the duration of an implied  warranty, so certain limitations stated in Sections 5.2 and 5.3 may not apply to you. In such  cases, this Warranty shall be interpreted to provide the maximum protection to STS INTI  allowed by law, and similarly the maximum rights to the Owner not inconsistent with these  terms.

5.8 Governing Law:

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Vehicle was  purchased and primarily used by the original Owner. Any disputes arising from or related to this  Warranty may be subject to mediation, arbitration, or litigation in accordance with that  jurisdiction’s laws and venues, as determined by applicable purchase or registration agreements.  This Warranty does not confer any rights other than those expressly set forth herein.

5.9 Not an Insurance Policy:

This Warranty is a product warranty for defects in materials and workmanship only. It is not a  vehicle insurance or liability policy. The Owner remains responsible for obtaining and  maintaining any required vehicle insurance or liability coverage, as this Warranty will not  compensate for accidents or damages that would typically be covered by insurance.

5.10 Customer Support:

For any questions regarding this Warranty or for assistance with a claim or service issue, please  contact STS INTI Customer Service (321) 294-3650 or your authorized STS INTI Service  Center. We are committed to supporting our customers and ensuring your experience with the  INTI Solar Electric LSV is satisfactory. However, please note that no informal advice or  communication from STS INTI, its employees, or dealers will alter the express terms of this  written Warranty.
